In 2015, the original Bill Tracy balcony façade started undergoing a restoration that is anticipated to last several years. Using color photos of the façade that date back to the 1970s, the Trimper family carefully recreated the clapboards and repainted with colors that are true-to-Tracy. Both party walls are now adorned with fresh clapboard, and the black paint behind them was freshened up. Rotten wood was replaced where appropriate, and colors were brightened up with fresh paint.

The crooked chimney was completely removed from the ride and rebuilt from scratch using the original wood as a template. New smokestacks were fabricated for the top, and a new row of decorative spades was added to the roofline.

All of the original zigzags and odd shapes of Tracy's spooky clapboard was carefully reconstructed and remounted to the cinderblock front. Photos of the facade from the last several decades were used when recreating the pieces, and helped to match Tracy's original colors.

New doors were built for the balcony exit. The shingles and rooflines were replaced and touched up.

The railing was completely reinforced and repainted, and the balcony floor was repainted with the famous blood red color.

Tracy's Bat looks better than ever and was overhauled several times over the past few years. In the late 1990's - early 2000's the Bat received its trademark blood splatters. In 2011 it received some serious attention and was given a tongue and new tail while having its missing claws restored; but as recently as 2015, the bat was given a complete makeover, rebuilding and reposing his limbs and adding larger teeth and a pair of glaring green eyes.

The Bat has gone through many transformations throughout the years.
