 The 2012 season undoubtedly marks a memorable year for Trimper’s Haunted House. Not only has the ride introduced over 15 new effects to its riders, but it is beginning to establish itself not only as one of the longest and most thrilling dark rides in the country, but in the world. The changes made to Trimper’s Haunted House this year offer new frights for generations of families, and the additions make the ride close to legendary. Simply put, it's not the same ride anymore. Once a ride with ample dead space, Trimper’s Haunted House is now filled with ghouls and goblins around every turn, and all of the attraction’s effects and sounds are working 100% for the first time in years. |

I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of a ride so special to me, and for being able to coordinate and execute the adoption of stunts from Tracy’s defunct Phantasmagoria dark ride. As we begin to see dark rides disappear because of industry-wide budgetary issues, it’s my goal to preserve and protect what is left. Trimper’s Haunted House is not only a great home for the effects from Phantasmagoria and the new modern-day stunts, but I am confident they will be properly maintained and cared for as families continue to enjoy Trimper’s Haunted house, a one-of-a-kind seaside treasure, for decades to come.
